Cherie Marquez has over 20+ years as a creative director, brand strategist, and marketing executive helping organizations, brands, and people tell powerful, purpose-driven stories. With a background in film and television—producing for networks like HBO, ESPN, and MTV—she brings a narrative-first approach rooted in emotion, cultural fluency, and audience connection

She is the founder of cMedia Collective, a creative studio focused on storytelling, brand building, and digital strategy for mission-aligned companies and nonprofits. Her cross-sector work spans entertainment, education, wellness, and philanthropy, supporting clients like Apple, Nike, the Los Angeles Sparks, Donorschoose.org, Salvation Army, DiscoverE, Stand Together, and the Carol Emmott Foundation.

Cherie has helped nonprofits clarify messaging, grow communities, and lead with empathy in campaigns that drive real-world impact. She has deep experience in brand identities, experiential activations, influencer campaigns, and content strategies that honor lived experience and reach diverse audiences.

Known for her collaborative leadership and values-driven mindset, she works at the intersection of strategy and storytelling—bridging creative vision with meaningful outcomes. Her work centers inclusion, trust-building, and the belief that strong narratives can shift perception and mobilize change.

Cherie is a member of the Women’s Media Center’s SheSource network and is active in the Female Founders Collective and Hey Mama communities, supporting women-led ventures across creative and impact sectors.

Alison Ferrell

Alison Ferrell is a multi-passionate entrepreneur and co-founder of Red Moon, a women’s wellness company redefining period care through intentional design and natural solutions, and Vallory, a modern media platform amplifying women’s voices, stories, and power. Across both ventures, Alison is committed to creating spaces where women feel seen, supported, and empowered.

She brings a professional background as a Strategic Business Partner in finance and private equity. In her current role at EQT, a global investment firm with over 230 billion in assets under management, she manages investor communications, international roadshows, and strategic planning at the highest level. Her operational precision and capital coordination experience inform her work as both a builder and leader.

Alison previously served on the board of Les Enfants Baobab, a nonprofit based in the Democratic Republic of Congo. There, she supported initiatives focused on education, shelter, and food access for street-involved youth—reflecting her long-standing commitment to equity and dignity for underserved communities.

Alison is honored to continue building impact-driven work alongside her co-founder Cherie Marquez, united by their shared belief in community-led solutions and transformative storytelling. Her work embodies a balance of operational excellence and mission-driven heart.
